Weekly Highlights:

- We researched and took notes on the Foothills Region of Alberta
- We learned Halloween and colour words in French
- We told time to the 5 minutes and are solving word problems using time (what time is 45 minutes past 2:20?
- We reviewed Calendar Basics (years, decades, centuries)
- We learned about wedges, inclined planes and screws in science
- We celebrated Math Friday with Mrs. Mason's Grade 3 class by building 2 and 3 dimensional shapes out of loops of string
- We studied the art of pointillism and artists Georges Seurat and Paul Signac's work. Students began their own pointillism art piece depicting the landscapes of the foothills and rocky mountains.
