Today

- Literacy Stations are Remembrance Day themed, some of these include- reading the "Flander's Fields" poem, writing thank you letters to Veterans, and studying a kids newspaper article about Animals that have helped in war's past
- Students took a pre-assessment to show their prior knowledge about representing and comparing numbers to 10 000 (this will be our next area of focus in math)
- Students began to create a 24 hour representation clock of their day (using a circle)
- We studied a current event about the #LoveYYC tourism event that happened over the weekend; we discussed how this connects to tourism and the economy
